Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a professional Housekeeper to maintain high standards of cleanliness across corridors, lift landings and public walkways, including staff areas and fire escapes, during site hours.

You will liaise with the client’s daily operations lead, respond to spillages, and perform duties such as refreshing toilets and kitchenettes, plus dishwashing support, while keeping safety a priority on active sites.

Qualifications

• Must have right to work in the UK.
• Personable and confident.
• Experience in a front of house role or customer service is desirable.
• Good understanding of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards on site during operating hours while customers are using areas.
• Liaise daily with the client's operations lead; respond to spillages or debris.
• Work safely around members of the public and client team to ensure a safe environment.
• Duties include refreshing toilets and kitchenettes, loading/unloading dishwashers, and reactive cleaning of spillages.

Monday to Friday 11:00-19:00 or 12:00-20:00

About the Role

As Housekeeper you will ensure that the expected standards of cleanliness are maintained in corridors, lift landings, and all other public walkways always including all fire escapes and staff areas.

• To maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards on site, during the sites operational hours, whilst customers/stakeholders are using the areas
• To liaise with the clients daily operational lead throughout the shift, to be reactive to spillages or debris noted, and to follow an agreed schedule
• To work as safely as possible whilst members of the public of the clients team are present, to ensure a safe environment
• Duties will include but not be limited to: refreshing toilets, refreshing kitchenettes, loading/unloading dishwashers, reactive cleaning to spillages

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria

• Must have right to work in the UK
• To be personable and confident
• Experience within a front of house role, or in a customer services or experience team is desirable
• Good understanding of health and safety
