Job summary

N Family Club is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper at Olympic Park, London, to maintain a welcoming, spotless environment for children, families, and staff. The role focuses on high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality within a busy nursery setting.

As a key member of Nursery Operations, you will follow COSHH and Health & Safety guidelines while supporting daily tasks, laundry, and supplies management. A caring, energetic, and customer-service oriented mindset is essential for success.

Qualifications

• COSHH guidelines and Health & Safety practices understood.

• Experience handling hazardous materials and safe usage knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Keep classrooms, kitchens and nurseries clean and well maintained.
• Create a welcoming environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Maintain bathrooms and changing areas to high standards.
• Identify broken or faulty equipment and report for repair.
• Manage laundry and ensure cleaning supplies are stocked.
• Water plants and keep the space bright and fresh.
• Follow COSHH and nursery safety guidelines at all times.
• Receive deliveries and organize storage appropriately.
• Maintain overall hygiene and safety standards every day.

As a Housekeeper at N Family, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and spotless environment for our children, their parents, and our team. Your key responsibilities

• Work with the nursery team to keep everything sparkling clean and running smoothly.
• Help make the nursery feel warm and welcoming for children, parents, and visitors.
• Keep bathrooms and changing areas spotless.
• Spot any broken or faulty equipment and let management know so we can fix it fast.
• Stay on top of laundry and make sure we're always stocked with the right cleaning supplies.
• Water the plants and keep the nursery feeling fresh and bright.
• Use the right products for a nursery environment, following COSHH guidelines to keep everyone safe.
• Welcome deliveries and make sure everything is kept in the right place.
• Be our hygiene hero - keeping our nursery safe, clean, and shining every day.

Our Housekeepers should have...

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
• Knowledge of COSHH guidelines and an understanding of Health & Safety practices.
• A caring and passionate personality, with a genuine love for working with children and families.
• Experience of working with hazardous materials and know how to use them safely.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, glass-half-full outlook.
• Bags of drive and motivation with a 'make it happen' attitude!
• A love for customer service.
