Job summary

N Family Club in Greenwich, London is hiring a Housekeeper for a permanent, full-time role. You will maintain a safe, spotless nursery environment, supporting staff and families. Hours are 11am-8pm, Monday to Friday, with a strong focus on hygiene and customer service.

The role requires prior housekeeping experience, COSHH awareness and a positive, energetic attitude toward children and families. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Keep classrooms, kitchens and all areas sparkling clean.
• Help create a warm, welcoming environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Maintain bathrooms and changing areas to high standards.
• Identify damaged equipment and report to management promptly.
• Manage laundry and ensure cleaning supplies are stocked.
• Follow COSHH guidelines to keep everyone safe.
• Receive deliveries and organise items appropriately.
• Be the hygiene ambassador, ensuring a safe, clean nursery every day.

Your key responsibilities

• Work with the nursery team to keep everything sparkling clean and running smoothly.
• Help make the nursery feel warm and welcoming for children, parents, and visitors.
• Keep bathrooms and changing areas spotless.
• Spot any broken or faulty equipment and let management know so we can fix it fast.
• Stay on top of laundry and make sure we’re always stocked with the right cleaning supplies.
• Water the plants and keep the nursery feeling fresh and bright.
• Use the right products for a nursery environment, following COSHH guidelines to keep everyone safe.
• Welcome deliveries and make sure everything is kept in the right place.
• Be our hygiene hero – keeping our nursery safe, clean, and shining every day.

Our Housekeepers should have...

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
• Knowledge of COSHH guidelines and an understanding of Health & Safety practices.
• A caring and passionate personality, with a genuine love for working with children and families.
• Experience of working with hazardous materials and know how to use them safely.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
