Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited is seeking a dedicated Hospitality Assistant (Housekeeper) at Hendon Hall in London. You will maintain immaculate resident rooms and communal areas, and support laundry operations to ensure hygienic, comfortable living spaces for our residents.

Flexibility across housekeeping, food & beverage and wellbeing duties is expected. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong personal standards of cleanliness, and a collaborative approach with maintenance and care

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 1 would be advantageous.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Strong standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Keep residents' living spaces and communal areas spotless and well presented.
• Handle laundry duties to ensure clean linen for residents' comfort and hygiene.
• Monitor for potential fire or accident risks and work with the team to minimise risks.

Your role at Signature

Take pride in creating a beautiful environment for our residents, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Housekeeper at our luxury care and nursing home in Hendon.

What you will do

As our Housekeeper, you’ll be the sort of person who doesn’t go out without leaving a tidy bed. You’ll apply your high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness to our resident’s homes and communal living spaces, to ensure they’re spotlessly clean and beautifully presented.

You’ll also be working in laundry ensuring that the linen is kept clean for residents’ comfort and hygiene. You’ll also have your eye out for potential fire and accident risks, working with the housekeeping and maintenance team to reduce any risks to resident’s safety.

Our residents will notice and appreciate attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness builds confidence in our service delivery.

Internally, this role is called Hospitality Assistant, if you are successful this will be your job title. You will be required to work across a range of departments including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Wellbeing & Lifestyle. Responsibilities will vary on each shift depending on which department you are supporting.
