Job summary

The Beach House, part of the Hall & Woodhouse family, on the seafront near Lymington, is seeking experienced housekeepers for full or part-time roles. You will care for guest rooms and facilities while upholding high standards and a welcoming approach.

Starting pay up to £13.11 per hour, with a raise to £13.45 after 6 months, plus tips and meals discount. This opportunity is with a Sunday Times Best Places to Work employer offering a supportive team and lifestyle benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with commercial housekeeping is essential.
• Well presented and approachable with an eye for detail.
• Able to work various shifts including early mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Take care of guest rooms and facilities to a high standard.
• Provide a warm, helpful guest experience and support the team.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed.

Part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of destination pubs and inns, the Grade II listed Beach House near Lymington was built in 1897 for Alexander Siemens (who created the world’s first public electricity supply at Godalming) as a summer house for his family. Formerly known as Westover Hall, Hall & Woodhouse renamed it ‘The Beach House’ in 2012. Built in the Arts and Crafts style it was once judged the most luxurious residence on England’s south coast. With fantastic raised patio areas and extensive gardens the pub also boasts over 200 outside covers and affords great views across to the Isle of Wight.
