Job summary

We have vacancies for full or part time experienced housekeepers to take great care of our guest rooms and facilities. You will help us maintain high standards and ensure guest comfort in a busy pub with a hospitality focus.

Starting pay is up to £13.11 per hour, with a potential increase to £13.45 after six months. You’ll earn a share of tips, have flexible hours, and enjoy meals at a discount on duty while contributing to a standout guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and knowledge of commercial housekeeping is essential.
• Well presented and approachable with an eye for detail.
• Able to work various shifts including early mornings and weekends.
• Able to reliably manage the commute.

Dazzling Duchess - Poundbury Near Dorchester Built in 2016 by the Duchy of Cornwall but operated as part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of great pubs, the Duchess of Cornwall was so named at the direct request of the Prince of Wales and was opened by the then Prince and Duchess. The pub contains many artefacts from the Woodhouse family including The Badger glass - the largest hand-blown glass in the world. The building is split into sections over three floors, Bar and the Pantry, the grand central staircase, first floor dining room with its open kitchen and then to top it all off, is a beautiful outside terrace.
