Job summary

Carebase in Histon is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Bramley Court team. You will follow daily cleaning schedules across communal areas, residents' rooms, and toilets, while maintaining high standards and dignity for residents.

We value a caring, friendly approach and provide full training, pension, paid holiday, and a supportive environment. The role is permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week, with weekday shifts and alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• You’ll need to understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements such as Health and Safety and COSHH
• Ensure that all equipment and materials are well maintained and safely stored in the appropriate places
• You’ll report any incidents or maintenance issues to the home manager.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily cleaning schedules with the housekeeping team to keep all areas spotless
• Interact with residents daily, remaining friendly, caring and respectful
• Keep communal areas, toilets and residents' rooms clean to high standards

About The Role

As our Housekeeper you will ensure daily cleaning schedules are followed and with the rest of the housekeeping team, ensure every area of the home is spic and span and up to our standards. This includes all communal areas, toilets and of course our residents’ rooms. You’ll interact with our residents on a daily basis - so you’ll be friendly, caring and kind whilst respecting our resident’s dignity at all times.
