Job description

Sketchley School is recruiting a Housekeeper to join our friendly, caring, and supportive support team.

We seek passionate individuals to ensure our site is safe and comfortable, covering all aspects of housekeeping. Responsibilities include maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school, with a flexible approach and the ability to respond quickly to requests for assistance.

The role involves cleaning the main building, additional classroom blocks, toilets, training kitchen, staff area, stock taking of cleaning products, and refilling dispensers as needed. Training will be provided where necessary. The role also includes stock checking, completing mandatory paperwork, and performing deep cleans of the school as required.

Working hours for this role are 4 hours per day:

6am - 10am, Monday to Friday. This includes 1 hour of lone working and responsibility for opening the site.

Preferred skills for the role include:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or site cleaning.
• Good knowledge of COSHH and health and safety in the workplace (training will be provided).
• Organised, adaptable, and thorough in your approach to work.
