Job Description for a Live in or Live Out Housekeeper Based in Kensington, London

Position: Permanent

Job Reference: MD770

Job Title: Live in or Daily Housekeeper

Location:Kensington, London

Number of Children: 3 school age children

Salary: £20 to £25 gross per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Hours Required: Monday to Friday 11am/12pm to 7pm. Occasional weekends or evenings required

Driver: Prefer driver though not essential

Accommodation: Separate shared house with other members staff.

This is a long-term, live-out or live in opportunity suited to someone who takes pride in their work, is highly organised, and can maintain the highest housekeeping standards in a luxury home. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a discreet and proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Full housekeeping duties, including daily cleaning to a consistently high standard
• Wardrobe management, including seasonal organisation and care of delicate items
• Laundry and ironing (with additional support for heavier ironing tasks)
• Monitoring household supplies and alerting when items need replenishing
• Being able to work by yourself, though occasionally lending a hand to other team members with their tasks, so must be a team player.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end private household
• Strong attention to detail and ability to take initiative
• Trustworthy, discreet, and professional at all times
• Flexible and adaptable, particularly with family and children present
• Team-oriented with a willingness to assist others as needed
• A UK driving licence is advantageous but not required
