Overview

The Salvation Army’s Kroc Center is hiring a Housekeeper and offers the following benefit package to part-time employees:

Pay Range: $18.00/hr.

Education Requirements

Minimum of High School Graduate or Equivalent

Work Experience

Experience in commercial or residential cleaning preferred, but not necessary

Qualifications

• Provide routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all interior and exterior building surfaces and furnishings.
• Regular cleaning and sanitation of areas including restrooms, shower rooms, locker rooms, fitness areas, library, offices, nursery, classrooms, chapel, kitchen, lounges, dining rooms, etc.
• Regular removal of trash and recyclables.
• Regular cleaning and sweeping of exterior areas including sidewalks and paved areas.
• Maintain appropriate inventories of cleaning products, supplies, and products such as paper towels, toilet tissue, and soaps throughout the facility.
• Maintain the appearance of the facilities and grounds including doors, windows, flooring, walls, and furnishings.
• Maintain records of room cleaning.
• Work cooperatively with other on-site managers of the RJKCCC.
• Attend all scheduled staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
• Sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or occasional basis.
• Grasp, push, pull objects such as reference materials, files, and operate various office equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to be creative, original, intuitive, and perceptive.
• Ability to think logically and critically.
• Ability to envision a project from beginning to end.
• Ability to solve complex problems, make appropriate judgments, and decisions.
