Job summary

Forest Holidays in North Yorkshire is seeking a friendly Housekeeper to join our Pickering/Keldy team. Work across Cropton and Keldy locations, 12 hours per week, Monday and Friday from 10am to 4pm, at £12.71 per hour. Open all year, you’ll keep cabins sparkling and guest-ready in a beautiful forest setting.

You’ll be part of a small team, take pride in high cleanliness standards, and enjoy generous benefits including holiday allowance, pension, staff discounts, and wellbeing initiatives.

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work well in a small team and manage time effectively.

• Location: Working across both our Cropton and Keldy locations (Pickering).
• Salary: £12.71 per hour.
• Working Hours: Part-time, 12 hours.
• Days of Work: Monday and Friday, 10am until 4pm.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our Pickering Housekeeping team, working across both our Keldy and Cropton locations.

Be part of creating memorable escapes in one of North Yorkshire’s most beautiful and peaceful forest settings. You'll help ensure every cabin is beautifully prepared and ready to welcome our guests, while developing your skills in a unique and rewarding environment.

About the Housekeeper Role

Open all year round, our Housekeepers work in small teams, cleaning multiple cabins per shift. Passionate about the little details, you understand the importance of exceptional cleanliness, it's what keeps our guests coming back time and time again.

• The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues

• Some previous experience in a similar role
• A willingness to work outdoors in a natural setting, whatever the weather

Pay Rates for Aged 16 and 17

• 16 years: £8.00 per hour
• 17 years: £10.85 per hour
