Job summary

Priesty Fields Care Home in Congleton, part of Sandstone Care Group, is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards. The role offers an hourly rate of £12.76 and contracted hours of 37.5 or 30 per week, with 8am-4pm shifts and a rolling two-week rota that includes alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Daily Cleaning: Maintain all areas of the home to an impeccable standard, including resident rooms, communal spaces, and staff areas.
• Infection Control: Follow strict cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with infection control standards.
• Laundry Management: Assist in managing the laundry service, including washing, drying, ironing, and organizing resident garments and linens.
• Stock Control: Monitor and manage cleaning and laundry supplies, ensuring the home is always fully stocked.
• Event Preparation: Support staff by preparing spaces for events, activities, and family visits, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Team Support: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and adaptability to the home’s needs.

Housekeeper. Priesty Fields Care Home

• Hourly Rate: £12.76 per hour
• Contracted Hours: Either 37.5 or 30 hours per week according to preference
• Shifts: 8am-4pm (either 4 or 5 days per week, including alternate weekends as part of a 2 week rolling rota)
