Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our facilities, ensuring that all areas are welcoming and comfortable for guests. A background in hospitality or hotel services is highly desirable, as it will enhance the overall experience for our clients.

Housekeeper Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required.
  • Change bed linens and towels, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation. Restock supplies such as toiletries and linens in guest rooms and common areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
  • Assist with laundry services when necessary.
  • Maintain an organised cleaning cart and ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working order.

Experience required for the Housekeeper:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping role within a hospitality or hotel environment is preferred. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
