Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a housekeeping role at Horton General Hospital, Banbury. The post involves delivering and maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site, and supporting ward staff with patient meals.

We are seeking individuals with basic literacy, numeracy and cleaning experience within a healthcare setting. The role is permanent with 37.5 hours per week and includes a 6-month probation period.

Along with the cleaning tasks, Housekeepers also support the nursing team with the delivery of patient food and beverages.

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleaning in line with the National Specifications for Cleanliness in the NHS.

To work as an integral part of the team ensuring a high-quality service to patient.

To support ward staff in the delivery of protected patient mealtimes.
