Job Description:
As a Household Product Reviewer, you will help us meet consumer demands by testing a variety of products, including cleaning supplies, garment-care items, domestic appliances, garden products, and kitchen gadgets. All your testing results will feature in our content.

About the Role
Product Testing
- Research product categories, collaborate on testing procedures, perform lab and consumer tests, analyze data, and write reports promptly.
- Manage projects by developing detailed plans and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
- Pitch and execute product tests, including idea generation, procuring samples, preparing for tests, coordinating testers, creating surveys, and organizing lab space.
- Support product award programs by assisting with submissions, reviewing applications, and evaluating products.
- Review products, claims, and manufacturer data for quality and efficacy, contributing to the Good Housekeeping Tried and Tested database.
Content
- Coordinate images and samples for photography.
- Collaborate with other teams such as journalists and commercial staff.
- Respond to reader inquiries and product complaints.
- Create relevant how-to videos for social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Serve as an expert resource in content for other Hearst titles and media outlets.
Brand Promotion
- Act as an ambassador for the Good Housekeeping brand, including leading tours and participating in media coverage.
- Stay updated on industry trends, current affairs, conferences, and outreach opportunities.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in consumer product testing, research, or development is desirable.
- Strong data analysis, writing, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Inquisitive, enthusiastic, and collaborative attitude.
