Driverz Work in West London is seeking an experienced Household Assistant / Family Assistant & Driver to support a private family. Role combines driving, family support, light housekeeping, shopping and admin, with live‑in accommodation on working days.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organised, discreet and capable of managing the family’s needs with minimal supervision. Salary £55,000–£60,000, 4–5 days, Wednesday–Sunday, live‑in on working days.

Responsabilités

Household Assistant / Family Assistant & Driver

Location: West London
Salary: £55,000–£60,000 per annum, depending on experience
Working Pattern: 5 days per week, Wednesday – Sunday

The Role

A prestigious private household is seeking an experienced, discreet and highly capable Household Assistant / Family Assistant & Driver to provide hands‑on support to the family and assist with the smooth running of the home.

This is a varied role combining professional driving, family support, chaperoning, light housekeeping, errands, simple meal preparation and household administration. The successful candidate will be proactive, well organised and service‑minded, with the ability to anticipate the family's needs and work independently to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing safe, professional and discreet driving for the family, including school, activities, appointments, social engagements and errands.
• Chaperoning children to activities and appointments and assisting with their day‑to‑day schedule.
• Booking and coordinating activities, appointments and family arrangements.
• Maintaining the home to a high standard between professional cleans — making beds, tidying bedrooms and communal areas, and clearing up after meals.
• Preparing simple, fresh family meals, snacks and refreshments.
• Managing household errands including shopping, dry cleaning, post, deliveries, collections and returns.
• Monitoring household supplies and utilities and ensuring day‑to‑day requirements are taken care of.
• Liaising with tradespeople, contractors and household service providers when required.
• Maintaining vehicles, including fuel/charging, servicing, valeting and routine upkeep.
• Assisting with packing, family outings, travel preparation and ad‑hoc household requests.
• Working closely with other household staff to ensure the home operates seamlessly.
• Maintaining absolute discretion, confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be:

• Experienced in a private household, family support, hospitality or other high‑service environment.
• A confident driver with a full, clean UK driving licence and excellent knowledge of the local area/London.
• Warm, personable and comfortable around children.
• Proactive and intuitive, with excellent attention to detail and a genuine ability to anticipate needs.
• Highly organised, reliable, flexible and practical, with a strong can‑do attitude.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
• Polished, professional and discreet, with excellent references.
• Happy to undertake a hands‑on role and support wherever required.

Previous UHNW/private household experience is highly desirable. First Aid and/or relevant childcare experience would be advantageous.

£55,000–£60,000 per annum
4/5 days per week, Wednesday–Sunday
Live-in accommodation provided on working days
