This is an exciting professional opportunity in the largest Catholic independent boarding & day school in the UK, providing outstanding pastoral care on a rotation basis to boarders across all Boarding Houses (Girls and Boys). The House Matron is expected to support the Catholic ethos of the School.
The successful candidate will possess patience, empathy and understanding in order to provide the very best of care to our boarders. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to students across the age range are essential. This is a residential post and School accommodation is provided.
New Hall School offers an exceptional working environment, set in a stunning Grade I listed building that is the former Tudor palace of Beaulieu. With a staff of around 300, New Hall is a warm, welcoming and supportive community. A new London rail station will open in 2025, at New Hall’s front gate: Stratford, 26 minutes; London Liverpool Street, 34 minutes.
