Salary: c. £80,000 - £100,000 DOE
Overview:
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced and discreet House Manager/PA to support an UHNW family in their residence in West London. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with a primary focus (80%) on House Management and secondary (20%) PA responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth daily running of the household, staff management, and ensuring exceptional standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities – House Management (80%):
Oversee the daily operations of the property to ensure it is maintained to the highest standards
Manage and coordinate household staff
Liaise with external service providers and tradespeople
Implement and manage household procedures, manuals, inventories, and schedules
Oversee household budgets, petty cash, and general expenses
Organise events and formal/informal gatherings on behalf of the principals
Ensure all security and health & safety systems are operational and regularly maintained
Travel to country residence (Home Counties) when required
PA Duties (20%):
Diary and calendar management for the principals
Personal shopping, gift sourcing, errand running
Booking travel (both private and commercial), restaurants, appointments
Handling confidential documents and personal administration
Coordination with other staff and the family office
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within an UHNW private household
Exceptional leadership and staff management experience
Impeccable discretion, loyalty and professionalism
Strong communication skills and the ability to anticipate needs
Highly proactive, resourceful and calm under pressure
London-based with excellent knowledge of local suppliers and services
Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office and household management systems
Full UK driving licence preferred
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional weekend or evening support as needed.
