Are you organised, reliable, and passionate about maintaining a clean and safe environment? Join our dedicated team at Ellesmere Port Hospital as a part-time Housekeeper.

About The Role

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring our veterinary clinic remains a clean environment. This role will involve cleaning office space and staff spaces only.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
  • Cleaning staff area, office area and communal spaces to a high standard.
  • Handling clinical waste in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Adhering to COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) guidelines.
  • Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in line with hospital protocols.
  • Accountability for performing weekly health and safety checks and reporting as required.
About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in cleaning or housekeeping (preferably in a medical or clinical setting, but not essential).
  • Is knowledgeable about or willing to learn COSHH and clinical waste handling.
  • Willing to take on responsibility for regular health and safety checks such as fire alarm and legionella testing and reporting.
  • Is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work.
  • Can work independently and manage time effectively.
