Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our professional and hardworking Housekeeping Team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully building creating truly memorable and impressive 5 experiences for our guests.
About Us
Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, the hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment program, bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes drive from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar, and two unique meeting and conference spaces.
Our company goal is to deliver "refined and personalised hospitality" to enable our hotel to be a place where all guests can relax, enjoy themselves and have a break from normal life. To feel like royalty in a unique place with unique people.
Job Description
- GBP12.42 per hour
- Start times from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm, 4-5 hr shifts 5 days a week, including weekend work
- Ensuring all hotel communal areas are cleaned and tidied to a high standard, including vacuuming, polishing and dusting
- Ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard, including refreshing linen and towels, vacuuming and polishing
- Restocking guest room supplies, including linen, amenities and collaterals
- Engaging with guests where required
- Reporting any maintenance issues to the Housekeeping manager
Qualifications
- Cleaning rooms can be very physically demanding but you will receive full training and be surrounded by a supportive team
