Job summary

Havant and South Downs College is seeking a Bank Lecturer to teach across vocational and Vocational and Foundation Learning courses. • Degree in a relevant subject.
• Certificate in Education, PGCE or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' teaching the subject area.
• Recent proven teaching success shown by high student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across vocational and VFL courses.
• Deliver formal scheduled teaching and tutorials where appropriate, and student assessment.
• Assess student progress.
• Provide guidance and pastoral support to help students reach their potential.
• Help students achieve qualifications and progress to further study, training or employment.
• Ensure department success through teaching, learning and assessment.
• Collaborate with Course Managers and colleagues.
• Prepare learning plans and schemes of work.
• Keep relevant records and complete administration for teaching duties.
