Job summary

The CFO HQ presents a Group Financial Controller role for a hands-on leader in the hotel/hospitality sector. You will own financial control, reporting, and team management across multiple sites, partnering with senior operations to drive performance.

Ideal candidates are qualified accountants with UK experience in hospitality, strong payroll, budgeting, and reporting skills, and a proven track record of improving financial processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with UK practice or industry experience in hospitality or multi-site environments.
• Experience leading month-end close, statutory reporting and payroll across multiple sites.
• Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounts, budgeting, forecasting and control environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end finance function, including month-end close and statutory reporting.
• Prepare statutory accounts under UK GAAP/FRS 101 for the group.
• Oversee payroll processing across all sites and ensure compliance.
• Lead budgeting process and rolling forecasts for the group.
• Develop and mentor a small finance team and liaise with auditors.
