A healthcare organization in York seeks a Hotel Services Supervisor to manage staff and ensure high-quality service. Role involves supervising housekeeping, catering, and reception staff while maintaining cleanliness. Ideal candidates have a strong background in supervision, customer service, and preferably in mental health settings. Shift work is required, with a commitment to quality and service excellence.
Responsible for the provision of safe, high quality and efficient hotel services to patients, carers, staff and visitors to Trust sites on a day to day basis.
Responsible for the day to day management of Hotel Services staff including housekeepers, domestics, porters, catering, reception, storemen, couriers and post room staff.
Responsible for monitoring standards and taking corrective action as necessary.
To show commitment to and participate in quality improvement activities.
To interact compassionately with service users and carers at all times. Service users have a range of mental health conditions or learning disabilities.
To promote at all times a positive image of people with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
To promote at all times a positive image of Hotel Services and the wider Trust.
An opportunity has arisen for a passionate, friendly and enthusiastic individual to work as a Hotel Services Supervisor within the Trusts Hotel Services Team.
This post involves shift work including late/early, week-ends and bank holidays. You will be required to work different varying shifts between the hours of 06.45am - 6.15pm.
The post you are applying for is 24 hours per week permanent post and your base will be Foss Park Hospital Haxby Road York. You may be required to work in different locations within a team.
