A major global lifestyle brand (like W ,Canopy, Centric, Indigo Edition or Mondrian style) hotel group seeks an experienced and dynamic senior very experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the commercial strategy for a luxury five star flagship resort in Malta. This role is ideal for a strategic and results-driven professional with a deep understanding of the luxury hospitality market, particularly in Europe and the Mediterranean region. The candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, brand positioning, and market expansion while overseeing pre-opening and operational sales & marketing strategies. this is a major hotel complex so no unexperienced candidates will be considered ..potential with group to grow!!
This role is for a Senior Director of Sales & Marketing with strong relations within the Wholesale, Corporate and MICE markets for the Mediterranean region. The position can be based in London with regular travel connections to Malta.
The property that will be market leader in Malta from Day #1. The Hotel will open by end of Q1 2026 with 394 Rooms & Pool Suites, a large scale Spa & Wellness, Broom, Shopping mall, 280 Residences, Sky Bar, Bagatelle branded Beach Club, 8 Restaurants and Bars, a Membership Lounge, a VIP Lounge / Club Lounge, Indoor pool & Outdoor pool, etc.
As it is a pre-opening, a strong Director of Sales & Marketing is required to position the hotel.
The package will be very competitive for Europe and tailor made for the candidate. Malta has low taxes, hence our client will offer attractive packages that come close to Expat contracts, but within the EU.
