A day in the life of…

As Hotel Sales Executive, your role will be to carry out projects and generate leads resulting in revenue growth within the business and support the delivery of the commercial strategy. Identifying any new leads and contacts, working with the front of house teams in driving engagement. You will conduct sales lead calls to potential new accounts and clients and ensuring all sales databases are kept accurate and up to date. Performing general office duties and administrative tasks where needed which include weekly and monthly reports.

What do we need from you?

  • Communication Skills: As the face of our hotel, you’ll need to have excellent communication skills to successfully interact with clients, vendors, and hotel staff. You should be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally and have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills are essential for this role. You’ll need to be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise responsibilities, and work effectively under pressure. They should have excellent attention to detail and be able to manage budgets and schedules.
  • Customer Service Skills: you’ll work with our guest first hand so you’ll need excellent customer service skills to ensure that our clients have a positive experience. You should be able to anticipate client needs, provide excellent service, and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Flexibility: To handle unexpected changes or last-minute requests you’ll need to be flexible and approachable. You should be able to think on their feet and quickly come up with solutions to any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the commercial team by identifying and pursuing new business leads, including conducting market research and making outbound sales calls.
  • Be involved in producing and sending out group and local corporate proposals, chasing and seeing them through to a conclusion.
  • Work closely with the Front Desk team to convert leads and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Assist in creating and managing social media content, including reels and promotional posts, to increase engagement and brand visibility.
  • Share ideas for email marketing with the Aimbridge central marketing team.
  • Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and exhibitions at ExCeL to generate new business and strengthen client relationships.
