Job summary

Criterion Capital is seeking a proactive Construction Project Manager to lead a hotel refurbishment project in Windsor, England. You will own planning, procurement, construction and handover, coordinating design teams and contractors while maintaining schedule and budget.

The role requires site-based leadership, strong UK construction knowledge, and experience managing complex live environments in hospitality.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in construction project management, with refurbishment experience.
Proven track record delivering medium to large hotel refurbishment projects.
Experience managing live environments in hotels or hospitality.
Strong knowledge of UK construction processes, building regs & CDM.
Relevant professional memberships (RICS, CIOB, APM) advantageous.

Responsibilities

Oversee delivery of hotel refurbishment, including scope, programme, budget, quality and handover.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans for scope, objectives, programme, resources and budgets.
Establish and manage programmes, milestones and critical paths to ensure on-time delivery.
Lead procurement and appointment of contractors and consultants, negotiating terms.
Coordinate design teams and subcontractors, challenging proposals as needed.
Manage risks, resolve delays and conflicts throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with health and safety, CDM, and building regulations.
Lead commissioning, snagging, and handover to hotel operations.
