Job summary

Criterion Developments seeks a proactive Project Manager to oversee a hotel conversion from planning to handover, coordinating internal teams and external contractors while ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

You will report to the Senior Project Manager, develop procurement strategies, manage risk, and maintain comprehensive project records. Chartered status and hotel/residential experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in construction project management in consultancy and main contracting environments.
• Chartered in MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM or equivalent.
• Experience in hotel and/or residential conversions is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Degree or higher in a construction-related field; additional certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver office-to-hotel conversion projects within quality, time, and budget targets.
• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, resources and budget.
• Lead procurement strategies and oversee consultants, surveys, and contractors.
• Drive lifecycle from planning through handover with clear milestones.
• Negotiate contracts to achieve best terms and value.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to align with project goals.
• Maintain permits, records, contracts, change orders and inspection reports.
• Provide regular updates to internal clients and stakeholders.
