Hotel Receptionist – California Hotel 3*

Located in Kings Cross, the California Hotel is a unique bed & breakfast with 60 bedrooms, part of the Megaro portfolio. Established in 1985, it features an Art Deco aesthetic and a vibrant bar & terrace. We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Hotel Receptionist, preferably familiar with Rezlynx (PMS system), though this is not mandatory.

The Receptionist will work on-site five days a week, handling check-in & check-out, reservations via calls and emails, and maintaining prompt communication with guests. The role requires a proactive, hospitality-focused professional passionate about customer service and guest experience. Reporting directly to the Front of House Manager, the candidate must possess excellent organization and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure smooth and efficient check-in & check-out processes, delivering high customer service standards.
  2. Pay great attention to detail.
  3. Maintain excellent communication skills.
  4. Have a strong command of English, both verbal and written.
  5. Be knowledgeable about the hotel’s services, standards, and products.
  6. Be flexible with working hours and duties.
  7. Keep guest records up to date.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service and memorable guest experiences.
