Job description

We are looking for a dedicated customer service professional to join our Front Office Reception team.

Nestled in hundreds of acres of ancient parkland, Whittlebury offers an award-winning 254-bedroom four-star hotel, conference, and training centre. We also boast award-winning facilities, including a 3 AA Rosette restaurant, luxurious spa and championship golf course.

Salary:

Up to £25,396.80 (based on 40 hours per week)

What will you do?

As a receptionist you will:

Greet and handle guest enquiries promptly, delivering excellent customer service to ensure optimum guest experience
Manage the check in/out process
Maintain good knowledge of Whittlebury Park & our offerings, upselling hotel facilities & exploring potential sales opportunities
Manage incoming calls, ensuring all interactions, whether face to face, by phone, or email, are handled timely and professionally manner, liaising with other hotel departments as required
Our ideal candidate is a good team player who thrives in a busy working environment. You will have an excellent telephone manner, be passionate about high quality customer service and be confident in your ability to communicate effectively and establish rapport. Key skills also include a keen attention to detail, ability to multitask, and efficient time management.

This list of duties cannot be exhaustive due to the requirements of the hotel industry. Therefore, you may be required from time to time to carry out reasonable tasks as requested by management.

The hours and days of work will vary and include weekends, early mornings, late evenings, and holiday periods.
