Part of London + Regional Hotels, The Lensbury is located on the banks of the River Thames at Teddington. It features an exclusive leisure club, a 155-bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa, and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.


The Role

As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be responsible for ensuring a memorable guest experience by delivering an exceptional first impression and departure experience. You will handle guest queries during their stay and maximize revenue through cross-selling Food & Beverage and Spa offerings.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide all members and guests of The Lensbury with a warm and efficient welcome.
  • Deal efficiently with enquiries from members and guests in person and on the telephone.
  • Make reservations using the computerised advance reservations system.
  • Process all financial procedures accurately and securely.
  • Adhere to all department standards of performance.

What are we looking for?
  • Previous hotel reception experience.
  • Effective and competent communication with guests, members, and staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.
  • Accurate typing skills and knowledge of Word.
  • Knowledge of reservations software (preferably Opera) is an advantage.
