£23,809.50 per annum + monthly service charge payment

Langshott Manor Hotel, part of Alexander Hotels, is a private group of distinguished hotels just outside London.

It is a 4 Red Star, award-winning Elizabethan Manor House set in 3 acres of stunning grounds with an ancient moat. The hotel features 22 bedrooms, charming lounges with open fires, and the sumptuous 3 Rosette Mulberry Restaurant.

The Role

We are seeking a smart, friendly, well-organized, guest service-focused individual to assist our professional Hotel Reception team during busy periods. You must have a five-star smile and a warm, welcoming personality. You will be central to our guest service experience throughout their stay.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Welcoming guests upon arrival
  2. Guest check-in and rooming
  3. Handling enquiries in person and on the telephone
  4. Posting charges and guest billing
  5. Taking bedroom reservations
  6. Producing daily activity reports for internal departments
  7. Upselling facilities and rooms
  8. Organising porter service as needed
  9. Balancing the shift and completing end-of-day procedures
  10. Assisting food and beverage staff during quieter times

Requirements

  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, totaling 37.5 hours per week (5 days)
  • Excellent personal appearance
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and on the phone
  • Warm and friendly disposition
  • Genuine desire to serve guests
  • Organized with good attention to detail
  • Accurate data entry and computer skills
