Job summary

The Gainsborough Bath Spa in Bath is seeking a hotel receptionist to warmly welcome guests, manage efficient check-in and check-out, and respond to a variety of queries face to face and by telephone with a friendly, professional approach.

You will be part of the front office team, bring outstanding communication and organisational skills, enjoy interacting with guests, and utilise Opera to deliver smooth, personalised service.

• Experience in hotel reception and guest check-in/check-out.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Opera experience preferred.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

The Role of a Hotel Receptionist

Our receptionists are attentive, welcoming and are often the first person a guest meets when they visit our luxury hotel.

The Hotel Receptionist is responsible for guest check-in and check-out and respond to a variety of queries both face to face and on the telephone in an efficient, friendly, and professional manner.

Our guests will be your priority, you will be approachable, an excellent communicator, and strong organisation skills. You will have fun with our guests and enjoy being part of the front office team. Successful candidates will benefit from previous hotel experience using Opera.
