Job Description

At a Glance:

  • Salary: £12.40 per hour
  • Contract type: Permanent
  • Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, with earliest start at 8:30 am and latest finish at 8:15 pm, including alternate weekends
  • Location: Bala Lake Hotel, North Wales

As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing the reception area, delivering a first-class guest experience, and handling administrative tasks for the hotel and Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing bookings for hotel stays, spa treatments, and activities.
  • Being a key point of contact for guests, facilitating check-in/check-out, and resolving customer queries or complaints.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador and identifying opportunities to upsell memberships and events.
  • Delivering exceptional guest service.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Good numeracy and computer skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of hotel operations.

Working hours are 37.5 per week, with shifts starting as early as 8:30 am and ending as late as 8:15 pm, on alternate weekends.
