As a Porter, you’ll be one of the first friendly faces our guests meet. You’ll welcome and engage with guests throughout their stay, offering personalised service and thoughtful recommendations that showcase your knowledge of the hotel and local area. You’ll assist with arrivals and departures, carrying luggage and guest orientation, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience from the moment they step through the door. Strong teamwork and clear communication with all departments are essential, helping deliver seamless service and awareness of daily activities. This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business.

• You will have previous experience working in Front office in a luxury four or five star hotel.
• Be passionate about going above and beyond for our guests and recognise and skilfully act on opportunities to make the guest experience memorable through offering or suggesting appropriate hotel products and facilities.
• Local knowledge of the surrounding area and places of interest would be advantageous.
• Be able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, enabling you to be able to anticipate our guests needs ensuring they receive a Hand Picked experience.
• Through your enthusiasm and willing approach, you will demonstrate how you find solutions to any scenario.
• Act calmly and professionally, maintaining an outwardly positive attitude even when under pressure.
