Job summary

RIU Plaza London Victoria is seeking a Painter to maintain hotel aesthetics through touch-ups, repainting, surface prep and wall treatments across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities. You'll support the maintenance team with reactive repairs, preventative maintenance and daily tasks, with a minimum of one year's hotel industry experience required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of hotel industry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality painting, staining, varnishing, and surface finishing across guest rooms, corridors, lobby spaces, meeting rooms, and exterior areas.
• Match paint colors, finishes, and textures to brand standards.
• Use drop cloths, masking tape, and protective barriers to safeguard furniture, flooring, and fixtures.
• Monitor RIU App and perform tasks in a timely, professional manner.
• Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and record it.
• Perform Daily, Weekly and Monthly Safety Checks and record them.
• Troubleshoot and repair daily issues.
• Perform Maintenance Health & Safety (H&S) checks.
