Our client are recruiting for a hotel night receptionist, for their award winning luxury Hotel, set in the Braemar area. The role would be suited to somebody who has experience working night shifts, and ideally from a Hotel/Reception background. Given the financial side of the role, it would be hugely beneficial for the successful candidate to have a background in financial auditing.

A hands on role, the successful candidate will be able to work on their own, whilst assisting other departments as part of a team. You will have experience working nights, in a customer facing environment, and be passionate for quality customer service, ideally from a hospitality background.

The night receptionist duties will include;

  • To ensure the Hotel and its guests are safe throughout night hours.
  • Ensuring that you are visible and accessible, to show a presence throughout the Hotel and assisting guests.
  • Managing front of house and fulfil night administrative duties.
  • Complete all end of day banking and financial audits.
  • Maintain a professional and high quality service to all guest at all times.

Working as a hotel night receptionist you will assist in providing assistance in many areas of the Hotel, including reception, food and beverage and maintenance. This will include;

  • Maintaining a clean environment on front desk.
  • Checking in arrivals
  • Dealing with messages promptly and courteously.
  • Delivery of room service.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to the relevant team.
