Delta Hotels by Marriott Edinburgh is seeking a proactive Maintenance Team Member to help keep the hotel looking sharp and running smoothly. You’ll perform general repairs, assist with planned preventive maintenance, and ensure rooms are in top condition for guests.

Qualifications

• A flexible approach to working hours (including one weekend a month)
• Previous experience in maintenance or handyman role is preferred
• An electrical or plumbing qualification is a bonus but not required
• Attention to details and practical problem solving

Responsibilities

• Assist with planned preventive maintenance (PPM): General repairs like painting, changing silicone, or basic plumbing and electrical jobs.
• Keeping rooms in perfect conditions: Doing regular walk-throughs to catch little issues (like a loose door handle or a burnt out lightbulb) before a guest does.
• Helping our guests: Heading up to guest rooms to fix any quick issues with a smile and a "no problem" attitude.
• Working as a team: Supporting the Maintenance Manager and helping other departments .
• Staying safe: Following the usual health and safety rules to keep yourself, the team, and our guests safe.
• Sorting the workshop: Keeping your tools tidy and letting us know when we’re running low on supplies.
