Job summary

Warrington Fir Grove Hotel, Sure Collection By Best Western is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to keep hotel facilities safe, functional and welcoming. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks across the property, respond to repairs, and help uphold high health and safety standards in a busy hospitality environment.

You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and hotel team, recording work done and costs, and coordinating with contractors when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with hands-on maintenance tasks is beneficial.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across the hotel, including basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, resolving issues efficiently and calmly.
• Assist with routine inspections of hotel facilities and equipment, spotting issues early and helping prevent disruption.
• Support the delivery of preventative maintenance programmes that keep equipment working correctly.
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety guidelines.
• Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used, and costs; communicate actions taken and follow-up required.
• Coordinate contractors and suppliers to ensure work is completed to a good standard and on time.
