Job summary

Apex Hotels in Glasgow is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will maintain guest facilities and hotel systems, using our CMMS to receive and complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Your role covers painting, bathroom and plumbing work, electrical tasks, basic air conditioning care, carpentry and general maintenance, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. A trade-based qualification and reliable teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• A trade-based qualification, skill or expertise.
• Experience delivering a broad range of general property maintenance activities.
• Ability to learn and retain new maintenance skills.
• Flexible approach to a wide range of maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Painting surfaces: prep and paint walls and woodwork.
• Bathroom maintenance: tiles, grout, sealant, fixtures.
• Plumbing: taps, fittings, sanitaryware, unblocking wastes.
• Electrical: basic repairs and safety checks.
• Carpentry: door adjustments and minor repairs.
• General maintenance and guest-request handling.
