Job summary

Motel One London-Southwark in London is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to ensure our technology and hotel facilities run smoothly for guests.

You will lead a small team, coordinate with external service providers, and monitor lifts and equipment while conducting daily inspections to uphold high standards across our 222-room property. This role blends practical trades with hotel operations and offers opportunities to influence service quality.

Qualifications

• Completed a technical apprenticeship and/or have professional experience in trades or building maintenance.
• Be open and communicative, pay attention to detail and be interested in technology.
• Be flexible and creative and have an excellent sense of quality, even in stressful situations.
• Be a team player and willing to provide assistance across departments – we achieve our results together

Responsibilities

• Monitor the functionality of equipment, lifts and technical facilities throughout the hotel and carefully keep track of defects.
• Newly built hotel opening in the heart of London with 222 keys.
• Real opportunity to set the standards and maintain this state-of-the-art property.
• Dynamic member of the Management team and able to operate in a small team.
• Communicate, liaise and cooperate with external companies, in particular checking maintenance work.
• Undertake a tour of the premises every day to identify defects and carry out repairs and renovations.
• Gain interdepartmental insights by working in multicultural teams.
