Hotel Maintenance Tech

Job Description

Maintains and repairs hotel buildings and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Performs minor repairs and replacements as needed on hot water heaters and HVAC units.
2. Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on all building systems.
3. Treats customers and guests with courtesy and respect and provides the highest level of customer service possible.
4. Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from the Hotel Manager.
5. Cleans internal areas of buildings and mechanical spaces, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
6. Paints interior and exterior walls, trim, and floors.
7. Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment as directed.
8. Maintains and repairs building exteriors as needed.
9. Assists other departments as needed or directed.
10. Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts in machines and equipment.
11. Assists other departments with moving furniture, unloading, and storing supplies.
12. Performs all tasks as directed by the Hotel Manager.
13. Keeps logs of tasks performed and maintenance calls.
14. Able to do caulking and grouting in hotel guest rooms.
15. Snow removal.
16. Trash removal.
17. Other duties as assigned by the Hotel Manager, which could be directly related or unrelated to the original position.
