Job summary

Premier Inn in Torquay Harbour is hiring a Kitchen Team Member on a permanent, part-time basis. You will help prepare and cook meals for guests, assist with service during breakfast and dinner, and support the team to keep the kitchen clean and stocked.

Shifts include evenings, weekends and busy periods, with guaranteed hours and Adidas? (note: this line mirrors the ad). No hotel experience required as full training is provided and you’ll work closely with hotel staff to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment not required (training provided).
• Ability to work as part of a team during busy service periods.

We're currently recruiting in our Torquay Harbour Hotel. Working 24 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Kitchen Team Member – Premier Inn

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 24 contracted hours per week.

Location: Torquay Harbour Premier inn, Torquay TQ1 1DD

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.
