Job summary

Premier Inn in Stoke (Trentham Gardens) is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare, cook and serve meals for guests. You’ll be part of a friendly hotel kitchen, with a focus on breakfast and dinner service, teamwork and delivering a high standard of food during busy periods.

This role offers 20 contracted hours per week, with pay up to £13.06 per hour, and a permanent contract with guaranteed hours. Shifts include evenings and weekends at the Stoke location, Stone Road, Trentham, ST4 8JG,

We're currently recruiting in our Stoke (Trentham Gardens) Premier Inn. Working 20 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

This isn’t just about cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Hours: 20 contracted hours per week.

Location: Stoke (Trentham Gardens) Premier Inn - Stone Road, Trentham, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 8JG

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
