Job summary

Premier Inn Witney is hiring a Kitchen Team Member. You will help prepare, cook and serve meals that guests enjoy during breakfast and dinner services, as part of a friendly hotel team. This role offers 18 contracted hours per week and pay up to £13.06 per hour.

Whether you’re new to kitchens or have hospitality experience, you’ll learn on the job and become confident in a busy environment. Reliability and teamwork are essential, and you’ll roll up your sleeves when it gets busy.

Qualifications

• No prior kitchen experience required; training will be provided.
• Must be reliable and enjoy working with others, and be willing to roll up your sleeves when things get busy.
• This role could be your first kitchen job or in hospitality; enthusiasm and teamwork matter more than past experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.

• Keep the kitchen clean and well organised for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and manage stock.

We're currently recruiting in our Witney Premier Inn. Working 18 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

This isn’t just about cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Hours: 18 contracted hours per week.

Location: Ducklington Ln, Witney OX28 4JF

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
