Job summary

Premier Inn Swindon Town Centre is recruiting a Kitchen Team Member on a fixed-term contract ending 14 January 2027. The role is 12 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour, and based at 43-44 Regent Street, Swindon.

You'll prepare, cook and plate meals, help keep the kitchen clean, receive deliveries and work with the hotel team to ensure smooth service. Prior hospitality experience isn't required; reliability and teamwork matter most. Evenings, weekends and busy guest periods are included.

You'll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone's stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you'll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Fixed term contract with an end date of 14/01/2027

Hours: 12 contracted hours per week.

Location: 43-44 Regent Street, , Swindon, SN1 1JS

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You'll Do

As a Kitchen Team Member you'll help make sure every guest gets a meal they'll enjoy. You'll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you'll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You'll be part of a team that's working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You Don't Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you're willing to learn, we'll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.
