Job summary

Premier Inn in Perth City Centre is hiring a Kitchen Team Member for 20 hours per week at up to £13.06 per hour. Based at Perth Mill Street, this role supports breakfast and dinner service and involves preparing ingredients, cooking meals and keeping the kitchen tidy.

You’ll join a friendly hotel team, learn kitchen basics, work evenings and weekends, and have training from day one. This could be your first kitchen role or a step in hospitality, with opportunities to grow within Premier Inn.

We're currently recruiting in our Perth City Centre Premier Inn. Working 20 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Kitchen Team Member – Perth City Centre Premier Inn

This isn’t just about cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

If you enjoy working as part of a team and seeing the results of your work straight away, this could be the role for you.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Hours: 20 contracted hours per week.

Location: Perth City Centre Premier Inn, Mill St, Perth PH1 5HZ

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
