Job summary

Whitbread's Reading Winnersh Premier Inn is recruiting a Kitchen Team Member to support breakfast and dinner service, helping create meals that guests rely on for a great stay. You’ll prepare ingredients before service, cook and plate dishes during busy times, receive deliveries, keep the kitchen clean and organised, and work closely with the hotel team to ensure smooth service.

We're currently recruiting in our Reading Winnersh Premier Inn. Working 30 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Kitchen Team Member – Premier Inn

This Isn't Just About Cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

If you enjoy working as part of a team and seeing the results of your work straight away, this could be the role for you.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Fixed term contract with an end date of 30/11/2026

Hours: 30 contracted hours per week.

Location: Reading Road, Winnersh, Reading, RG41 5HQ

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.
