Job summary

Premier Inn is hiring a Kitchen Team Member at the St Albans/Bricketwood location. You will help prepare, cook and serve meals for guests as part of a team, with shifts including evenings and weekends. The role is 30 contracted hours per week, paying up to £13.56 per hour.

The contract is a fixed-term arrangement until January 2027, and prior hotel experience is not required as training will be provided. This is a hands-on kitchen role within the Premier Inn team.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.56 per hour

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until January 2027 – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 30 contracted hours per week.

Location: Smug Oak Lane, Bricketwood, Radlett, Herts, AL2 3PN

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.
