Job summary

Premier Inn is hiring a Kitchen Team Member in Penzance. You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that guests enjoy during their stay, including breakfast and dinner service. You’ll work as part of a busy team, receive deliveries, keep stock where it should be, and help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right.

This is a permanent role with guaranteed hours. No hotel experience is required—many of our best Kitchen Team Members joined from supermarkets, cafés or restaurants.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience is required; applicants from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses or customer service roles are welcome.
• No previous kitchen role required; we’ll teach you the rest if you’re willing to learn.
• You’re reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.

Kitchen Team Member – Premier Inn

This isn’t just about cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract:Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 16 contracted hours per week.

Location: Branwells Mill, Penzance, Cornwall, TR18 2LQ

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.
