Job summary

Premier Inn Bridgwater Gateway is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to prepare and cook meals for guests, from breakfast to dinner, and help keep the kitchen clean and organised. You’ll receive deliveries, manage stock, work with the hotel team, and deliver meals that meet high standards.

This role can suit first kitchen job or hospitality experience, offering a permanent contract with guaranteed hours. The role is 24.5 hours per week, pay up to £13.06 per hour, based at Bridgwater Gateway, North

We're currently recruiting in our Bridgwater Gateway (M5, J24) Premier Inn. Working 24 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

This isn’t just about cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Hours: 24.5 contracted hours per week.

Location: Bridgwater Gateway (M5, J24) Premier Inn, Poplar Court, North Petherton, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA6 6ZG

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.
